RadSpect master — complete update

One file that updates both the master server and the web interface of a RadSpect master board.

Install

Either:

From the web interface — sign in as administrator, open Firmware, upload the .bmu and let the board restart; or
From a USB stick — copy the .bmu into a folder named update at the root of the stick, insert it in the master board and power-cycle it.

The board applies the file at boot. Allow a couple of minutes before the web interface answers again.

What is kept

The instrument's configuration (config.yaml), its calibration and installation records, its HTTPS certificate and its saved configuration snapshots are not part of the package and are not touched.

If the interface does not come up

Open http://<instrument address>/maintenance. That page is served even when the normal startup fails: it shows why, and offers resets, a return to the configuration saved after calibration or installation, and a button that clears the browser's stored data.

Berthold Portal Master Update File

Single update file for the RadSpect radiation monitor master board. It contains the master server (berthold-backend-python) and the web interface (berthold-webservice-react) at their latest released versions, so an instrument is brought fully up to date with one file. The .bmu is applied by the board at boot, from /ni/update/ or from a USB stick, and leaves the instrument's own configuration, calibration and certificates in place.
